BoomTown: Putting the “K” in the iFive:K
It’s that time of year again! Get your team bling ready for some iFive:K action on Thursday, April 18, 2013. This year’s race is going to be bigger (literally – registration is capped at 800 this year!) and better than ever before. With not only another epic after party sponsored by yours truly, BoomTown, there will also be a scientifically approached pre-party sponsored by our neighbor and dance off rival, Blue Acorn.
After you head to the starting line at 4 p.m. to hit up the pre-party and get your photo with the iFive:K squirrel, get your stretch on with The Foot Store. Inman Connect 2013: Now The Year Can Really Begin
For those of you who have ever worked in the retail space, you know that these companies follow their own set of fiscal calendars. Their first quarters may be during the holiday season, or whatever season is most pertinent to their market and products. I am beginning to think that perhaps real estate calendars should start the week after the January Inman Real Estate Connect conference. The BoomTown team just returned from an action-packed week in NYC, rubbing elbows with the best and brightest in the industry (both old-timers and newcomers).
BoomTown Celebrates National Run at Work Day With An Olympic 5K!
Although the Olympics ended back in August, they only just arrived at BoomTown in the form of our very first company 5K. As part of our growing wellness initiative and in conjunction with National Run at Work Day, on Sept. 21st everyone in the office was encouraged to stop work a little early, dress a little crazy and go for a run in nearby Hampton Park. The Olympic theme allowed each participant (runner, walker or volunteer) to dress up and represent a country of their choosing. We were lucky enough to have representatives from Canada, the United States, Cuba, France, Scotland, Germany, Norway, Turkey, and Djibouti.
